The NSDI strategic plan, which covers the years 2014-2016, was tried by the FGDC Steering Committee in December 2013. The plan describes a wholesale national vision for the NSDI, and includes goals and objectives for the Federal government's role in continued sustainable minutiae of the NSDI. The plan was ripened through wide-stretching consultation and coordination with FGDC member agencies and geospatial partner organizations and stakeholders. The FGDC will work collaboratively with partners and stakeholders in the geospatial polity on implementation of the plan.
